MLK: in defense of “moral law”

In honor of MLK, I think his “Letter from Birmingham Jail”, dated April 16, 1963 is well worth reading.

MLK defends NON-VIOLENT protests – justified by “moral law” – an argument more valid to day than ever before in our nations history.

Media Bias

From Gary Bauer's End of Day report

Freddie Gray, Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin are household names. Have you heard of Dylan Noble?

Here are some facts to keep in mind: Last year, 990 people were shot and killed by police officers. Fifty percent of them were white. Twenty-six percent were black. Seventeen percent were Hispanic. But to listen to left-wing politicians and the media, the only shootings are of young black men.

This is the same media that refuses to report facts about terrorism when Muslims are involved because it doesn't want to stoke violence against Muslims. But a shooting involving a police officer is trumpeted as evidence of the systemic racism of all police officers.

CBS has been running stories all week about hate crimes against Muslims. I am not aware of a single Muslim murdered in America because he was Muslim.

Meanwhile, police officers are increasingly becoming targets of hate crimes. Remember the police officers assassinated in New York, Ohio and Maryland? Now this atrocity in Dallas.

Where are media stories on hate crimes against cops?

DES MOINES, Iowa – Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys representing an Iowa church filed a federal lawsuit Monday against members of the Iowa Civil Rights Commission, among others, to stop the government from censoring the church’s teaching on biblical sexuality and from forcing the church to open its restrooms and showers to members of the opposite sex…
